How long have you been shooting?
-- For a long time, but shooting models for only about 4 years.
How did you start your career?
-- Model tests! Elite was actually the first modelling agency I shot models from :)
Any exciting projects on the horizon – personal or related to work?
-- I have an editorial coming out in Fashion magazine this month! Beyond excited about it!
Where do you get your inspiration from?
-- I would say from everything and anything.. Inspiration doesn't always come easy but when it does it's quite hard to pin point exactly where it came from.
Name your most memorable shoot and why?
-- I would say this shoot titled "Speckled" where we splattered fake freckles on a model a bit before that whole trend started. The images have been reblogged so much over the past year, it's been insane!
Tell us one thing about yourself that would surprise people.
-- I originally wanted to be a writer
If you could only have one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
-- Pizza
What’s your favourite movie of all time?
-- That's a tough one. Most watched would probably be Smiley Face or Mean Girls.
What do you do in your free time?
-- Netflix binge watching. Just finished Sense8 & the new season of Orange is the new black, both amazing series.
What would you do if you could be invisible for one day with your
camera?
-- I love observing strangers..
Is there anybody you would love to photograph?
-- Lara Stone
What separates a good photographer from a great one?
-- Hard work
What would you like to be doing in 5 years from now?
-- Still debating between NYC and LA. I would never want to live in NYC, but I hear there are great work opportunities out there.
What makes a portrait (or a subject) beautiful in your opinion?
-- Being able to understand and capture the subject's beauty. Everyone is beautiful in their own way, you just have to be able to see it.
What’s next for you?
-- Hoping to focus on editorials shot on location for the next little while.
